We have been in Texas for a day now and it is beautiful! We are in this little town on the Gulf.There are few pet friendly establishments, but everyone has been so helpful. The manager at the motel has given us a second room for half price for the babies, even though technically “pets” are not allowed. (The website said yes, but someone recently purchased the property and changed all the rules.) I volunteered my help to update the web page and the manager volunteered the room. Not a bad deal. No one seems to know if “pets” are allowed on the beach or not, so I make sure I clean up any messes. Samson and Fifi are loving the water and the sand. Princess and Yoyo would rather stay in the grassy areas. I try my best to divide the time evenly. I do have to admit that I would rather be on the beach, but to see Princess giving me the “This is SO below me” look, breaks my heart. Later today I am going to explore the town a little more. LOL People are going to stare when they see me, two cats and two dogs all walking merrily along.
